Instructions for Using PointClips
Using PointClips PowerPoint® artwork in your own presentations couldn't be easier. Each icon comes on its own PowerPoint slide, either as an individual file, or as part of a 50-slide package.
Getting Started
To get started open the .PPT file that contains the PointClips artwork you want to work with. If it's part of a package, navigate to the slide that contains the desired artwork (or use the "Find" function in PowerPoint and search for keywords).
Copying PointClips to Your Presentation
Click on the PointClips icon to select it. From the menus at the top of the screen, choose "EDIT > COPY". Open (or create) your own presentation. Navigate to the slide you wish to put the PointClips artwork on and choose "EDIT > PASTE" from the menus. You can also drag and drop PointClips from one presentation to another. It's that simple.
Resizing and Moving PointClips
PointClips icons are fully scalable and look great at all sizes from tiny to full-screen. To resize the artwork to your desired size, simply click on it to select it, and click and drag from any of the four corners of the select box. PointClips can be moved to any place on your PowerPoint slide by clicking and dragging the icon to the desired position.
Editing PointClips (advanced)
Since PointClips are built in PowerPoint, they are fully editable. To edit a PointClips icon, you must first ungroup it. Right-click on the icon and select "GROUPING > UNGROUP" from the drop-down menu. You may have to do this a few times as many PointClips are made up of several grouped pieces.
Once you have successfully ungrouped the icon, you can select any of the individual elements (this is easiest when zoomed in). Each element can be changed in color or shape. Use the PowerPoint editing tools to change the fill or stroke color. To change the shape, right click on the element and chose "Edit Points" from the dropdown menu.
Using PointClips in Other Applications
PointClips work well in other Microsoft® Office® applications such as Word® and Excel®. Simply copy from the PointClips PPT slide that contains the desired artwork and paste into your Word or Excel document.
PointClips may work in other non-Microsoft-Office applications, but we cannot guarantee the image quality and some degradation may occur when copying and pasting into any third-party application.
